Bert Hellinger is probably Europe’s most innovative and provocative psychotherapists and a best-selling psychotherapy author. A former priest and a missionary to the Zulu in South Africa for 16 years, as well as an educator, a psychoanalyst, body therapist, group dynamic therapist, and a family therapist, he brings a lifetime of experience and wisdom to his work. The family constellations, which have become the hallmark of Hellinger’s approach, as well as his observations about systemic entanglement and resolution, have touched the lives of thousands of people and have changed how many helping professionals carry out their own work. His phenomenologic approach started in Germany .

We all have family we descend from, with whom we are linked. The family system has a huge influence on us, conscious and unconscious. It influences our actions, how we see the world, our relationships, our health and life path.

A familyconstellation can unite what was in conflict at a soul level and can detangle what kept us entangled to the pain and fate of others.

This work is a powerful therapeutic tool, that, when used in a sincere way, can have a lasting effect. Also being present in a constellation touches us in our own processes and makes them shift.

When Digna thinks a familyconstellation would be appropriate for a client at this point of his or her personal development, than she recommends Otteline Lamet and Peter van Zuilekom (www.lametvanzet.nl) or Annelies Boutellier and Coen Blom (www.buroboutellier.nl). She joins the workshop to be able to continue the process of the client in individual therapy.
